Imagine if you will, a glorious spring day...

I just returned from a walk on this wonderful spring Sunday and wanted to share my thoughts.

Imagine a powder blue sky with fluffy white clouds

Wind chimes slowly and melodically ringing

Little spring birds twittering

A patchwork of greens on the hillside

Flowering fruit trees glorious in pinks and warm whites Other trees with little buds on display against the blue sky

Some late daffodils striving to stay

Tulips and hyacinths peaking up and showing their lovely spring colors

Imagine walking along and listening to these sounds and looking skyward

The first tulips from the yard

Really the little moments we experience are the big moments. Nature speaks to us in its own way, if we slow down enough to listen and truly see.

The photos are courtesy of our backyard.

"Free range mood reader..."

This is the first I've heard that expression and totally relate, realizing I am myself. Sometimes I have two books going at once, a male author and female. Depending on the mood, that's the book that gets picked up. Thank you for your blog Miss Sharon. Now if I had some of your yum yums from the oven and a vase of flowers from your backyard, I'd be set for the coming week. Thanks for being here!
